I have been a governor at Cheam Common Infants for many years and am an active member of St Philomena’s Catholic High School for Girls Parent Association.

Pam Cooper: Vice-chair of Governors

I first became a Governor of Cheam Park Farm Infants School in 2002 and have continued to serve as a governor through the school becoming an academy and forming Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy. I am Vice Chair at Cheam Park Farm and, in 2019 I joined the joint Local Governing Board of Cheam Common Infants and Cheam Common Junior schools.

I am currently the Link Governor for Inclusion (SEND, DA and EAL) on both Local Governing Boards and Link Governor for Achievement for Cheam Park Farm. Over the years I have also had experience in the areas of literacy, safeguarding, curriculum development and admissions. Over the last few years I have also supported reading in Year 2 at Cheam Park Farm on a weekly basis and helped on school trips. Outside of school I work on a voluntary basis for a local Christian charity providing assemblies and RE support in primary schools in Sutton.
